Foundation for Catholic Education 1st Annual Golf Outing

The Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia was a proud sponsor of the Foundation for Catholic Education's 1st Annual Golf Outing held on May 17th, 2022. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Foundation for Catholic Education's Endowment Fund.
Founded in 2010, the not-for-profit Foundation for Catholic Education's goal is help increase enrollment in Catholic Elementary Schools by helping families gain access to affordable parochial education through the EITC and OSTC programs.
Our catholic cemeteries were delighted to be a part of this great event!
8th Annual MorScholars Scholarship Award Ceremony

Once again, we would like to congratulate our MorScholars Scholarship Award recipients selected for the Class of 2026!
MorScholars recipients are selected based on their ability to excel academically and their potential to be leaders in school. One freshman student at each Archdiocese middle school is selected to receive a four-year scholarship totaling $3,375 ($843.75 per year).
In all, 140 scholarships totaling $426,000 have been awarded by Everstory and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic Cemeteries!
AOP & 2022 St. Patrick's Day Parade

On March 13th, 2022, the Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia served as a proud sponsor of the Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade for a fifth year! That's right, after a two-year hiatus due to COVID, the Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade was back on, and we were right there to celebrate with everyone along the parade route.

MorScholars recipients are selected based on their ability to excel academically and their potential to be leaders in school. One freshman student at each Archdiocese middle school is selected to receive a four-year scholarship totaling $3,000 ($750 per year). In all, 124 scholarships totaling $372,000 have been awarded by Everstory and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic Cemeteries!

Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans Flag Placing

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic Cemeteries & MorInvolved by StoneMor were honored to sponsor and volunteer with the Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans organization for the third year. We helped remember those unaccounted by planting flags in memory of an American soldier killed or POW/MIA during the Vietnam War. This inspirational display features more than 65,000 American flags in the shape and size of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, DC.

Friends, family and school representatives gathered to honor 18 students from 18 different Archdiocese of Philadelphia schools for our MorScholars 5th annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony! Fox29's Bob Kelly joined us as our MC for the event at Roman Catholic High School - Howard Center of the Arts. Congratulations to the students who have received these scholarships!
St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic Cemeteries staff enjoyed being a part of the 2019 St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday. We had so much fun connecting with our community during this historic event, which featured almost 200 different groups and more than 20,000 participants!
4th Annual MorScholars Award Ceremony

Parents, students and school representatives from each of the Philadelphia Catholic Archdiocese schools gathered for the 4th Annual MorScholars Award Ceremony on November 12, 2018. Eighteen MorScholars young men and women who were awarded a $3,000 scholarship from StoneMor Partners and the Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for their high school education. Congratulations to all 18 MorScholars recipients! Best of luck in your academic achievements! We enjoyed a beautiful ceremony with our empowering speakers and our Master of Ceremonies Bob Kelly of FOX 29. We would also like to thank John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School.
